Its October but the weather is unusually warm as we headed over for wine, beer, and Nicky’s award-winning meatballs at Polpette.  You cannot say you’ve experienced the UWS if you have  not tried Polpette’s “naked meatballs” with a light Chianti.  We spoke with the owner Nicky “Meatballs are my life” Mormando — and with multi-Audie Award winning audio book narrator, Johnny Heller.  Nicholas Martin-Smith, Producing Artistic Direct of Hudson Warehouse — “the other Shakespeare in the Park” — talked about correct use of blood on stage and his upcoming season.  And we had a wine and meatball tasting with bartender and actor, Mariem Diaz.  Oh and the OB makes another awesome prediction.
